    • Admission Procedure
      • The Admission process starts immediately after the declaration of Class-XII results of major national Boards recognized by Jadavpur University.
      • A student who is selected for enrolment in a particular course offered by the College will have to complete admission procedures and get herself registered within the notified time period.
      • Application for admission has to be made on the prescribed form obtained from the office of the Institute, on the designated days (Monday to Friday between 10:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M.) only.

      Eligibility
      • Only female candidates are eligible for admission to the Science graduate and post-graduate courses.
      • Candidates enrolling for various courses at JDBI must have good knowledge of the English Language.
      • A student seeking admission to three year B.Sc (Hons.) in Food Science & Nutrition Management / Textile Science, Clothing & Fashion Studies / Interior Designing / Human Development of the Institute must have passed the 10+2 examination of any recognized Board / Council recognized by Jadavpur University in four recognized subjects of which at least one is English and securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate. Further, the student must have passed Science and Mathematics at the Class 10 examination of any Board / Council recognized by Jadavpur University.

      Selection Procedure
      • Eligible candidates for B.Sc courses would be short-listed based on the following three criterias :

        * Candidates would have to submit attested certificates proving the same
      • Students have to appear for a personal interview after attending a counseling session organized by the college, only on the date specified.
      • Short-listed candidates will have to pay the fees within 24 hours of the merit list being put up or else the seat will be given to the candidate next on the merit list.

      • Eligible candidates would be short-listed on the following criteria BCom (Hons.) Course :

        ** To maintain parity among the results of different boards (West Bengal Board, ISC, CBSE and others), a percentile system should be introduced while calculating the Class-XII and Class-X results; this means that the highest score obtained by a candidate in the concerned board from among the applications received by the college, will be considered while computing the percentile of marks for all the candidates from that board.
      • Short-listed candidates will have to pay the fees within 24 hours of the merit list being put up or else the seat will be given to the candidate next on the merit list.
